Indian Institute of Development Management

Learning is a continuous process, if given in a  conducive environment. By conducive environment. By conductive environment we mean by the environment  where the learner is in a receiving mood. This conducive environment is created by the providers rather than receivers alone. One of the prime requirement for this is the design of training events considering the level of participants, their learning need, utility of contents, faculty

and their approach for training. We see most of the trainers in development sector fail in achieving the learning objective. Simply delivering the contents before the audience does not lead to build capacity of the target audience. It requires participatory learning approaches in which IIDM is equipped. The trainings, imparted without considering requirement, are mismatch leading to frustration resulting into apathy. Our Institution is working towards performance oriented training by taking care of these issues
